Middle Plane Issue 1

Russian, Berlin-based, artist Vadim Zakharov was involved in this issue from start to finish: posing with his sons for Mark Peckmezian and Charlie Engman, brushing ink over Peter Puklus photographs, or writing a piece on his loathing of fashion. The cover, fully orange—except for the barcode placed on the spine—echoes a series of 24 pictures the artist took inside an orange, shown in a narrow booklet at the centre of the magazine.

Contributors include Mark Peckmezian, Charlie Engman, Peter Puklus, Tim Gutt.

• Creative direction and design in collaboration with Thomas Cristiani
• Edited by Roni Monhait
